STEP 1 – COLOUR CORRECTION

Maria came into Travis George Hair Camperdown requesting a completely new look.

After a thorough consultation with Maria, our stylists decided that they would lift her hair colour to a much lighter shade and add some length by applying our TG Skin Weft Hair Extensions.

STEP 1 – COLOUR CORRECTION

Firstly we needed to select the right colour extensions.  That way, we would know what we needed to do when correcting her colour.

Once we determined that we were going to apply the 22/10 colour Hair Extensions on Maria, it was time to get to work on the colour correction.

We knew that we needed to remove all of the gold/orange reflection from her hair and that she would need a full head of highlights.

We started by using 20 Vol Ammonia Free Hair Powder Lightener.

In order to avoid any damage to the hair we also applied http://www.idhaircolour.com.au/niophlex/ to the hair colour.Niophlex adds bonds, elasticity and strength and enhances the quality of the hair, particularly during the lightening process.

We then commenced foiling, making sure we took very fine sections with a big weave.

After consulting with one another, our stylists determined that we had to foil approximately 90% of the natural hair. We knew that this would achieve the best lift and the most natural look.

We also decided to tone the non-foiled hair to a level 10 to reflect the 22/10 Extensions.

Approximately 45 minutes later, once we achieved the desired lightness we washed the foils from Maria’s hair.

We then applied a Level 9 Semi-Permanent Colour to act as a toner.  15 short minutes later, we had absolutely achieved our desired colour.
